The Day Pryoi
The Day Pryoi

Qualities
Illumination (Rank One Day Pryoi Gift): As the Level One Silver Fang Gift: Lambent Flame. The werecat radiates hot yellow or white sunlight. This light has no effect on vampires and other undead, though it burns their eyes. This Gift is usually learned from a spirit servant of Helios or fire elemental.
Associated Attributes: Suncats benefit greatly from direct confrontation and physical action. They see with clarity and are often majestic to behold. Thus, their favored Attributes are Strength, Appearance and Perception. Once per day, a Day Pryoi Bastet can reduce the difficulty of any roll involving a favored Attribute by 1; this includes Brawl and Melee damage rolls, as they are based on Strength. No difficulty can be reduced below 3.
Associated Renown: While Lightbringers can advance through any Renown, they find Honor comes most easily to them. Once per story, when the Day Bastet gains at least one point of Honor Renown, the player may opt to gain one additional Honor point.

Merits & Flaws
Only those of the Day Pryoi gain the benefits of the following two Merits; if the Bastet switches to another Pryoi, she loses their benefits until she again walks by Day. However, Goldburn affects the character no matter what Pryoi she currently follows.
Goldburn (2-pt. Physical Flaw): The Bright's connection to Helios is such that she suffers aggravated damage from gold. However, she may soak this damage with Stamina. (She's still vulnerable to silver as well.)
Invigoration (2-pt. Mental Merit): When in direct or partial sunlight, and the sun is high in the sky (mid-morning to late afternoon), all Willpower rolls are made at -1 difficulty. However, no difficulty can be reduced below 3.
Sunbound (2-pt. Supernatural Merit): Twice per day, a Day Pryoi Bastet can reduce the difficulty of any roll involving Strength, Appearance or Perception by 1. Alternately, she can reduce the difficulty of any such roll by 2 once per day. No difficulty can be reduced below 3. The Sunbound find it difficult to switch from the Day Pryoi.

"Hello, I am Chikrava. I understand from Speaks Sideways you wish to understand our Pryoi. It is delightful you want to learn this, assuming your motives are honorable. And I think the first step on the path of accord is to assume they are. So I shall tell you of my Pryoi, that of the Day. In return I am interested in learning of the wolf moon-clans, for our peoples can only benefit in better understanding each other.
"We Day Pryoi Bastet go by several names -- Suncats, Lightbringers, the Bright. We are born when the sun burns high in the sky. Our strength is in direct action, presence and strength of purpose. We take the light of Creation into dark places. We see clearly, the paths before us illuminated. Subtlety is not our way, nor is contemplation for its own sake... which is not to say we cannot act indirectly or reflect. But we Bright function best when we act openly. Suncats are not subtle stalkers or reclusive mystics. When Bastet must form prides, the duty to lead them falls to us. We speak, fight and walk in plain sight. When I slay minions of Asura, I do so without stealth or trickery, knowing they cannot stand before my strength. I want my foes to see my grace as they pass into the realm of death. I make silent prayers that my claws offer them some sort of redemption, a chance to regain Gaia's grace in the last seconds of their lives, though I cannot say if this is so.
"We Lightbringers have an affinity to Surya, the spirit of the sun, as I understand the people of Raven and Dragon do. (You name him in the tongue of Greece, as "Helios," yes?) It is good to feel the sun's warmth on our faces, and to feel it burning in our breasts so it may warm us in dark times. We also carry the favor of Nala (what I believe you call "the Wyld"), the great spirit of creation and change. I have dealt favorably with the spirits of fire that congregate at the temple of Agni here in India, though this may be more to do with my offerings of Godling fangs to them than my Pryoi.
"I cannot say the Day Pryoi is the best. Diversity is strength, not a means by which Bastet should compare blessings. But I admit a certain amount of pride in being one of the Bright, though I assure you it is justified."
"I hope you find what I offered useful. I am told our mutual contact Speaks Sideways will now tell you of the Twilight Pryoi, as it is natural that dusk follows the day."

The Tribes
Bagheera: Like the gold of their pelts, the wereleopards are a shining example of their tribe. They prosecute the corrupt openly and directly. Of the Bagheera, they are the most able to deal with outsiders gainfully, and so that burden often falls upon them.
Balam: Werejaguars born under the sun are among the least viciously xenophobic... though only by a matter of degrees. Their Rage is a burning fire, and so Suncat Balam often leave destruction in their wake, tearing through the corrupt invaders of their lands.
Bubasti: Possibly the rarest Bastet in the world, the Bubasti born under the sun are tribal oddities, possessed of a warm presence and positive outlook none would associate with the shadowcats. They typically excel at purging the same sorts of dark spirits with which their brethren truck, a relationship that is actually more synergistic than antagonistic... usually.
Celican: Of what few are left, faerie-cat Lightbringers hearken back to their leonine ancestry and show legendary bravery and grace in battle. It is said Day Celican enjoy cordial relations with fae nobility. But much is said about that tribe.
Khan: All tigers wear the sun on their coats, but those weretigers that carry it in their breasts are the most regal of their tribe. Sadly, they are also the rarest. In Asia, they're the most likely Khan to join the Beast Courts and follow the Way of Emerald Virtue.
Pumonca: Werepumas that walk by day are invigorated by the strength of the sun. There are few places in which they cannot go, should they want to. They bring Gaia's light to secret places, and deal with the things that dwell therein with resolve. As the least subtle Pumonca, though, they are often the first to fall to the enemies of their people.
Qualmi: The most congenial of a maddening breed, Lightbringer werelynxes are the ones that open their homes to those in need. Some honor Helios by claiming Raven as a jamak... and if they have dealings with Corax, who can say? Bright Qualmi are more concerned with unraveling mysteries and teaching than obfuscation or sowing confusion.
Simba: This tribe is often called the Lords of Sunlight, and the werelions born under the hot African sun epitomize this. These majestic Bastet have found purpose in the Ahadi, leading by example. Their hallmarks are insight and physical might, and are perhaps the truest examples of what Simba were meant to be.
Swara: Quite a few werecheetahs are Suncats, as fast and golden as sunbeams, and having a natural propensity for rooting out that which would stay hidden. Those of this Pryoi are possessed of wiry power and quick prowess.
