Welcome! This is your gateway to The Howling Void, my humble web page. Herein are my attempts at gaming stuff, humor, fiction, and some odds and ends.

The Howling Void Blog: Here's my disjointed blog, full of whatever's on my mind when I'm writing it. Topics range from gaming to politics to weird humor.

Social Networking: Yeah, I'm on Facebook and MySpace. I'm so trendy. Just use the message function to mail me. (I've learned my lesson about putting my email address on a public web page.)

White Wolf Games: My extensive World of Darkness material, inspired by White Wolf's games.

I primarily focus on the original World of Darkness. I have material for Vampire: the Masquerade, Kindred of the East, Werewolf: the Apocalypse, Mage: the Ascension, Wraith: the Oblivion and Demon: the Fallen.

For those of you that prefer the new World of Darkness, I have a mixed collection of rules material for the base setting, as well as a good chunk of Werewolf: the Forsaken stuff. Finally, I give the Aberrant supers game its due.

Shadowrun: My 4th Edition Shadowrun page. Feel free to use any and all of this. (I probably won't be adding to this material, since I don't invest in the game anymore... an act of protest I suppose over the Shadowrun developers' apparent disdain for Africa and its cultures. But there's no reason for me to take down what I have, especially since I attempt to rectify their oversights with my own fan material.)

Upgrades has a brief list of house rules. Menagerie presents new metahuman variants and sapients. My Mysticism page has new magic rules, traditions, spells and adept powers. And finally, Dark Ops Tech gives SR4 rules for Perfect Dark weapons (yes, the old N64 game).

Fiction and Poetry: Here are a lot short stories I've written, plus a little poetry and bent haiku.

Random Scribbles: My amateurish drawings, collected in a convenient and browsable index.

The Parakeet Corner: One of nature's most overlooked and underrated animal species is the budgerigar, also known as the parakeet. I've done a lot of research on them, and condensed the most interesting information into an educational web page. Are you interested in their breeding cycles and where they live, or perhaps you're fascinated with their habits and intelligence? Then click here.
